The Master of Interdisciplinary Medieval Studies (MEMI) is truly an interdisciplinary program and is the result of the cooperation of several departments within the University of Strasbourg.  This program presents different yet complimentary approaches to medieval sources.  Students benefit from a wealth of documents in Strasbourg, but also from the proximity to the Germanic world.

Educational Goal

Research program that facilitates access to a PhD.

Scientific Goal

Understanding medieval societies in their totality through the awareness of a diversity of sources, of issues, and of methods that experts working on the medieval period use. (Archeologists, canonists, art historians, philosophers, theologians, historians, musicologists, and literary experts)
