Archives
The medievalist may decide to work in the Archives départementales du Bas-Rhin located directly in Strasbourg. Not too far away, in Colmar, are the Archives du Haut-Rhin.
But many Alsatian cities have their own archives as well: The Archives de la Ville et de la Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg, the Municipal Archives of Colmar, of Mulhouse – all are rich in medieval documents.
